Job Duties

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot automated conveyance and sortation.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.
• Plan, schedule, and implement corrective actions using available tools and equipment.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track & complete work orders, log maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience working with distribution/fulfillment/conveyors/material handling equipment
• Basic knowledge of PLC/VFD/HMIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Industrial Maintenance Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
