This position provides supervision and administrative support for casework teams and assists in maintaining effective and compliant service delivery. As a County Casework Manager 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Supervision:
Provide guidance, conduct formal reviews, and oversee decisions made by assigned supervisors - Record Review:
Examine case records to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards - Policy Support:
Assist in developing and updating agency policies, procedures, and annual planning documents - Administrative Duties:
Prepare documents, attend meetings, and manage correspondence as required - Confidentiality Oversight:
Maintain strict adherence to all confidentiality rules inside and outside the office - On-Call Coverage:
Perform assigned administrative on-call responsibilities
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Employee may have occasional overnight travel out of County for meetings or training.
- Occasionally, irregular hours, including evening and weekends may be required.
- Telework:

- Three years of experience in public or private social work which included one year in a public welfare program and one year in a supervisory capacity; and a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
