Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

Job Responsibilities

• Use AI agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate framework upgrades, refactors, API extractions, test scaffolding, and documentation while preventing regressions.
• Build reusable playbooks, prompt templates, and migration checklists for AI-assisted work.
• Modernize a legacy .NET + SQL Server stack to contemporary, maintainable, and scalable technology.
• Ensure security, privacy, and observability in all code, setting strong automated tests and CI guardrails.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business problems into reliable software.

• 5+ years building and shipping production systems in real user environments.
• Strong C# and modern .NET (Core and beyond) experience in large codebases with refactor and migration work.
• Expertise in SQL Server: schema design, query performance tuning, and transactional correctness.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS;
  Azure is especially relevant.
• API design and versioned service-oriented architecture experience, including auth, reliability, and testing.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar for multi-file refactors, migrations, test generation, and review workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-moving, cross-functional teams.

• Experience modernizing legacy ASP.NET / .NET Framework applications.
• Knowledge of Azure modernization patterns and connecting backends like SQL Server with optional Postgres or event-driven pipelines (Kafka).
• Front-end experience with Angular and/or React/Next.js, including microfront end strategies.
• Experience establishing AI-friendly engineering practices, including CI guardrails, feature flags, and canary deployments.
• Background in regulated domains such as healthcare, fintech, or payments with an awareness of compliance and fast-paced delivery risks.
