What You'll Do:

• Safely transport and deliver engineered wood products, including LVL, I-joists, glulam beams, rim board, and structural panels.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required DOT documentation.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely using proper load securement techniques.
• Operate flatbed trailers and work with forklifts or truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) when applicable.
• Verify delivery paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Build positive relationships by providing professional, courteous customer service at every delivery.
• Work closely with customer service, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with warehouse activities when needed.
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Previous flatbed, building materials, or engineered wood delivery experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds; heavier products are handled using mechanical equipment.
• Ability to climb on and off trailers and secure loads.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and material handling equipment.
