The Warehouse Manager assists in the day-to-day warehouse operations. Hours are 7:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M.

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic math skills
• Ability to operate a Microsoft-based computer system
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and wire-measuring equipment
• Read, speak and comprehend English both orally and in writing
• Ability to read a map

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in electrical distribution

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment (concrete floors) and outdoor conditions (on asphalt, gravel, or grass) including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Some job functions may require extended periods of sitting.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage one or more employees effectively – including organizing, prioritizing, and delegating work assignments
• Read maps and plan delivery routing
• Meet product delivery deadlines
• Track and facilitate vendor price checking, rebates, and quotations
• Ensure that proper security and safety measures are in place and observed
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of warehouse, warehouse equipment, company vehicles, and location yard and grounds
• Assist as needed with stocking merchandise, order picking, and loading of trucks including:
• Loading or unloading trucks from ground level or platform
• Squatting, kneeling, bending, and twisting
• Climbing ladders
• Manually lifting up to 70 pounds
• Operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Operation of wire-measuring equipment
