This is a full-time, on-site Government Procurement role based in Bethpage, NY. The primary responsibilities include managing procurement processes for government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining relationships with vendors, government agencies, and internal teams. The candidate will oversee bid preparation, negotiate contracts, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure adherence to procurement procedures. Additionally, they will execute required documentation, review supplier performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement practices.
Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to achieve operational efficiency and meet project objectives.
- Strong understanding and experience in Government Procurement regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in managing supply chain processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations
- Demonstrated skill in attention to detail and preparing accurate and compliant documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and external vendors
- Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or High-Tech Industrial markets is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CPSM or CPPO are a plus
