Construction Site Manager; Superintendent

Position Overview

The Construction Site Manager (CSM) will maintain a full‑time on‑site presence at the Bethpage project location and oversee all field operations. This role is responsible for ensuring construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, with a strong focus on heavy civil and pipeline work.

• Maintain a consistent, full‑time presence at the project site to oversee daily construction activities
• Lead and manage field operations, including subcontractors, labor crews, and site personnel
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Coordinate and supervise pipeline installation activities, including layout, excavation, installation, and backfill
• Oversee heavy civil construction operations such as grading, trenching, utilities, and infrastructure work
• Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts to maintain timelines
• Enforce strict safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on‑site
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and ensure adherence to construction standards
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce allocation
• Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and documentation as required

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on projects of similar size, complexity, and cost
• Proven experience with pipeline installation projects, specifically within Long Island or New York
• Strong background in heavy civil construction and utility infrastructure work
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale, complex job sites and multiple subcontractors
• Working knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with federal EM 385‑1‑1 safety standards (Preferred)
• Experience working on New York public works projects (Preferred)

• Full‑time, on‑site role based at the Bethpage project location
• Field‑based position requiring extended periods outdoors in varying site conditions
• May require extended hours based on project needs and timelines
• This project is projected to start in early July with a duration of 6‑8 months

This is a Contract position based out of Bethpage, NY.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bethpage, NY.
