We are seeking a NYCDEP Investigator to join our Bethpage, NY team! Come join us!

• Conduct AHERA inspections in schools throughout the five boroughs.
• Prepare Management Plan Reports.
• Work in teams of two—1 NYCDEP Investigator & 1 NYSDOL Inspector.
• Work from 3 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.

• Associate degree in Engineering or Science.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience performing AHERA inspections and preparing AHERA Management Plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid NYC DEP asbestos investigation certificate and NYSDOL inspector & management plan certificates.

• Proficient in reading and sketching drawings.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office and familiar with other applications relevant to AHERA Management Plan reports.

• Detail oriented.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Legible handwriting.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

$83,200 - $93,600 annually
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
