We are seeking a NYCDEP Investigator to join our Bethpage, NY team! Come join us!
Job Responsibilities- Conduct AHERA inspections in schools throughout the five boroughs.
- Prepare Management Plan Reports.
- Work in teams of two—1 NYCDEP Investigator & 1 NYSDOL Inspector.
- Work from 3 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.
- Associate degree in Engineering or Science.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience performing AHERA inspections and preparing AHERA Management Plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid NYC DEP asbestos investigation certificate and NYSDOL inspector & management plan certificates.
- Proficient in reading and sketching drawings.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office and familiar with other applications relevant to AHERA Management Plan reports.
- Detail oriented.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legible handwriting.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
$83,200 - $93,600 annually
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
