VOICE / TELECOM NETWORK ENGINEER PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a skilled Voice & Telecom Network Engineer to join a Voice Services team, supporting the design, deployment, and maintenance of Fixed Line and VoIP services across SBC and softswitch-based platforms, including regulatory compliance technologies such as STIR/SHAKEN and CALEA.
MANDATORY SKILLS- 5+ years of telecom/voice engineering experience
- 3+ years with Ribbon, Metaswitch, and/or Nokia/Siemens core voice platforms
- Deep knowledge of SIP, RTP, SRTP, SDP, DIAMETER, and telecom signaling
- Experience with Unix/Linux and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Solid grasp of Cisco networking — routing, switching, and security
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA documentation skills for live outages
- Experience with Oracle SBCs, 5
ESS, and mediation/billing systems - Exposure to cloud-native telecom (Kubernetes, Docker) and NFV environments
- Knowledge of STIR/SHAKEN, CALEA, and robocall mitigation frameworks
