Blackstone Perpetual Finance - BXINFRA – Assistant Vice President
Responsibilities- Own day‑to‑day fund accounting and reporting, including NAV oversight, capital activity, fee and promote calculations, and quarterly close deliverables.
- Lead coordination with internal and external auditors, including audit execution and SOX control oversight.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams on preparation and review of 10‑Q, 10‑K, and other recurring SEC filings.
- Monitor and manage fund liquidity across the structure, supporting investor subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and treasury operations to ensure adherence to the fund’s distribution policy.
- Prepare and review accounting policy memoranda for new transactions and evolving accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor junior team members; contribute to continuous process improvement and ad‑hoc strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 6+ years of public and/or private accounting experience, with exposure to public companies, open‑ended funds, or private markets.
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting and complex fund structures.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and effective in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Expected annual base salary range: $135,000 – $200,000.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, and FSA), paid time off, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
Licensing RequirementsDepending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client‑facing role and/or engaged in activities such as attending client meetings, marketing Blackstone funds, supervising or training securities‑licensed employees, structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products, and advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or contributing information for marketing materials.
