Wire Operations Representative

The Wire Operations Representative is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of domestic and international wire transfers. This role supports daily wire operations, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and contributes to a secure and efficient payment processing environment while delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

This opportunity is open to flexible work options including a remote set up.

Core contributions include:

  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers in accordance with established procedures and cutoff times.
  • Review wire instructions for completeness and accuracy, including beneficiary details, routing information, and authorization requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, dual control procedures, and approval protocols.
  • Monitor wire queues and prioritize time-sensitive transactions to meet service level expectations.
  • Investigate and resolve wire-related inquiries, exceptions, and processing issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., branches, treasury, fraud, compliance) to resolve issues and support operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all wire transactions.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation and information.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating wire procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Assets you will bring include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in wire operations, payment processing, or banking operations.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international wire systems (e.g., Fedwire, SWIFT) preferred.
  • Computer skills:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The estimated salary for this role is $26.35 to $28.15 per hour.
