Salary: $26.53/hour

CHARLES EVANS CENTER, INC. (CEC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing comprehensive medical, dental and mental health services. We provide care with excellence and compassion to historically underserved community members with limited incomes including those with chemical dependency and behavioral health concerns. • Graduation from high school and either:
  Medical Assistant Certification, OR two years of satisfactory experience as an assistant to a medical doctor in the examination and treatment of patients
• Bilingual Spanish, required
• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor
• Strong communications and organizational skills
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office Suite
• Willing to learn medical software
• Experience with medical records, preferred

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations
• Assist in obtaining medical history
• Be an integral part of the patient care team and assist with patient care within the scope of practice
• Participate effectively in clinic activity
• Enhance patient experience by establishing rapport with patients
• Maintain detailed medical records
• Practice standard safety practices and precautions
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential
• Provide exceptional customer service
