WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Bethpage, NY.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments
• Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document electronic data
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care

Job Requirements:

• Travel experience required

• MEDITECH experience required

• NY State RN license in hand

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer

• Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation

• Must be defibrillation certified within 6 months

• Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
