Travel Sterile Processing Supervisor – Mids

Location: Bethpage, NY

Duration: 8 Weeks

Start Date: 03/16/2026

Shift: Mids

Schedule: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

On Call: None

Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

• Supervise and coordinate staff and daily Central Sterile operations
• Ensure compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures
• Oversee proper documentation of sterilization activities and maintain department records
• Serve as liaison between Central Sterile and perioperative areas to coordinate workflow and resolve issues
• Ensure proper care, handling, and processing of all instrumentation received through decontamination
• Accept and tag fast-track instruments
• Assign and reassign staff to daily job tasks based on operational needs

• Equipment: STERIS washers, autoclaves
• IT System:
  Synergy Trak

• Current Registered Central Supply Technician certification (CRCST or CSPD); must remain valid throughout the assignment
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sterile processing experience
• Leadership/management experience required (must be clearly noted on resume and cover sheet)
• Associate’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity with the ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and follow oral and written instructions
