Other vital services include an Ambulatory Surgery Unit, the Center for Sleep Medicine, Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center, CHS Cancer Center, the Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders, Diabetes Education Center and a full scope of outpatient radiology services, including Cardiac CT.

Emergency Department Technician
Responsibilities- Provides appropriate care to assigned patients.
- Performs treatments and procedures according to established hospital policy and procedures.
- Prepares patient environment for receiving patients.
- Assists with and, as necessary, accompanies patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process.
- Assists the nurse or physician in procedures and treatments as necessary.
- Appropriately places patients on a cardiac monitor as instructed by nursing staff.
- Handles and cares for patients' clothing, valuables and other personal property (including prosthetic devices, hearing aids, dentures, glasses, contact lenses, etc.) from admission through discharge.
- Functions appropriately during emergencies and crisis situations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Successful completion of a duly authorized CNA Training program with CNA certification, OR EMT‑B certification, OR a Nursing Student enrolled in a Nursing program who has completed Fundamentals of Nursing including a clinical rotation.
- Current ED experience is preferred.
- BLS from American Heart Association is required.
- Must be computer literate and able to read and write basic English.
USD $26.46 /Hr.
