Overview

St. Joseph Hospital is a community hospital that plays a paramount role in its communities. The Emergency Department cares for over 34,000 patients a year. The hospital has achieved disease specific certification for its Stroke Program which is designated by NYS as a Gold Plus Center. Other vital services include the St. Francis Imaging Center eph Hospital, a state-of-the-art cardiac CT scanner, MRI, Vascular Laboratory, Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, Center for Sleep Medicine, Center for Swallowing, Speech & Voice, and comprehensive inpatient medical, critical care and surgical services.

• The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records and assisting in filling Intravenous antibiotics.
• Filling, trouble shooting and maintain automated dispensing machine.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule.
• Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NYS Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• PTCB or NHA certification required.
• Experience in an acute care facility Pharmacy department strongly preferred

USD $30.12 - USD $30.12 /Hr.
