What You’ll Do

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruitment throughout the organization, with a focus on entry level positions. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we hire the best possible talent for the organization through sourcing strategies and developing new creative ideas and maintaining relationships with all levels of management. The HR Recruiter is solely responsible for full life cycle of recruitment process including but not limited to recruitment marketing, sourcing, networking, interviewing, coordinating with managers, making job offers, ensuring successful background screenings, and successfully transferring to onboarding.

Contributions
  • Manages the nationwide recruitment life cycle and strategy for the Credit Union. Seek innovative and efficient ways to build a pipeline of diverse qualified candidates including traditional sourcing, networking, social media and employment branding opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position to include preparation of position request worksheet, working with hiring manager to create and/or update job description. Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Builds relationships with business partners, potential candidates, future candidates, and all hired candidates. Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve the employee, manager and candidate experience from application to post hire.
  • Manage reporting of analytics including time to fill, cost per hire, maintains weekly recruitment activity reports, applicant management via Human Capital Management System and ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook for scheduling interviews in a very fast paced environment.
  • Research and stay up to date on compliance of all state, federal and local guidelines related to pre-employment background screening, hiring, job postings, and all Recruiting related functions. Should have knowledge of relevant compensation related compliance requirements. Reviews discretionary items with senior leadership as required. Maintain accurate records following record retention procedures.
  • Conducts interviews and recruiting interactions in accordance with state, federal and local labor laws. Works with managers to ensure that they are aware of all applicable laws. Coaches and mentors managers to conduct fair and equitable interviews.
  • Manage and update job boards for both internal & external open positions via social media pages included but not limited to Indeed, Glassdoor, Linked In, etc. to increase applications and awareness. Participate and attend Career Fairs and networking events for recruiting, company recognition, and industry best practices.
  • Manage and maintain the internal recruitment process; review internal postings, support managers as required as they facilitate scheduling and conducting of interviews. Assists in the finalization of the offer process which includes salary recommendations, start date, and offer letters in conjunction with recruiting team.
  • Stay informed of market trends and competitor recruitment strategies. Collaborate with the Compensation team regularly to review current trends or challenges. Assist compensation team as required by leadership.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Assets You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Recruitment.
  • 2+ years of sales recruitment experience preferred. Financial industry a plus.
  • Experience with interviewing required.
  • Must be familiar with state and federal labor acts and laws including but not limited to FCRA, EEOC, FCA, and other DOL guidelines.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and social media proficient.
