WhatYou’ll Do
You’ll join a highly collaborative team developing advanced algorithms, deep learning models, and production-ready imaging software. We’re hiring across experience levels — from engineers eager to specialize in imaging pipelines to seasoned experts ready to lead research and productization efforts.
- Develop and optimize advanced algorithms for medical imaging applications
- Implement classical computer vision and image processing techniques
- Build and train deep learning models for medical image analysis and enhancement
- Work with volumetric medical imaging data and 3D visualization pipelines
- Harden research prototypes into production-ready, well-tested systems
- Collaborate on R&D to evaluate novel algorithms and improve image quality
- Work within FDA-regulated software development processes (IEC 62304, design controls)
- Design validation strategies and quality metrics for imaging pipelines
- Optimize performance for real-time or near-real-time processing
- Your code will run on FDA-regulated medical devices
Technical
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
- Deep understanding of computer vision fundamentals: geometric transformations, feature detection, image analysis
- Hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch preferred)
- Experience with CT/MRI reconstruction, tomographic methods, and back‑projection algorithms
- Prior work on FDA-regulated software or familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485
- Experience with diffusion models, GANs, or other generative approaches
- Understanding of X‑ray imaging physics, geometry, and registration algorithms
- Publications or contributions to computer vision or medical imaging research
- Background in advanced medical image processing and medical imaging formats (DICOM, NIfTI, etc.)
Qualified candidates typically have:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field –
- OR equivalent professional experience in computer vision, medical imaging, or advanced image processing
- Mid‑level: 2‑5 years of relevant experience
- Senior: 5+ years with proven track record in computer vision or medical imaging systems
- Work on cutting‑edge imaging R&D that directly impacts healthcare and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with experts in AI, physics, and computer vision in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
