Position Overview
The Security Technology Program Manager is a full‑time professional based in New York who evaluates, deploys, and manages physical security technologies, including access control, video management, and security design for construction projects. The role supports the Physical Security Team across global sites and collaborates with Physical Security, Technology, Cyber Security, Facilities, vendors, and integrators.
Key Responsibilities- Lead capital security projects, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Run proof‑of‑concept initiatives for new hardware, software, and analytics platforms.
- Standardize security technology platforms and adopt best‑practice designs.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements across all sites.
- Manage a portfolio of security technology projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Product and Technology Strategy: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (access control, video, analytics, sensors) for scalability, risk reduction, and cost‑effectiveness; maintain a 12–18 month pipeline of solutions and upgrades.
- Proof‑of‑Concept Management: Plan and execute pilots, define success criteria, analyze results, and recommend enterprise adoption or deprecation.
- Project Leadership: Manage security technology work streams for new builds, renovations, and infrastructure projects; develop design packages and oversee integrators.

Partner with Physical Security, Facilities, IT, and vendors to align technology with operational needs; provide regular updates and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline. - Technical Platform Expertise: Act as SME for CCure
9000, Video Edge, Victor, Genetec, and video analytics platforms; lead configurations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization efforts. - Risk, Reliability, and Compliance: Ensure systems are resilient, cyber‑hardened, and compliant with policies and audit standards; support life‑cycle planning and vendor evaluations.
- Reporting and Communications: Deliver executive updates, project scorecards, and post‑project reviews; promote continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned.
- 5+ years of experience managing physical security technology or capital security projects in enterprise environments.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with CCure
9000 access control systems. - Deep expertise of video management platforms including Video Edge, Victor, and Genetec, as well as video analytics solutions.
- Proven experience running proof‑of‑concept evaluations and translating findings into scalable solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor oversight, and cross‑functional coordination.
- Experience supporting new construction or renovation projects with defined security design and integration responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills; effectively brief senior‑level leadership and technical teams.
- Familiarity with identity platforms and physical‑digital credential workflows.
- Knowledge of emerging physical security sensors, analytics, and cloud‑based security ecosystems.
- Certifications such as PMP, PSP, CSPO/PSPO, or relevant security technology credentials.
- Experience working in highly regulated or multi‑site global environments.
- Program and project management experience: capital project execution, vendor oversight, budget and timeline management.
- Technical experience with access control operations, VMS administration, video analytics, system design standards, platform lifecycle management.
- Evaluation and innovation skills in pilot design, testing frameworks, performance measurement, technology selection.
- Strong communication skills for executive‑level updates, decision records, risk escalation, and stakeholder alignment.
Expected annual base salary range: $160,000 – $225,000. Additional compensation and benefits include comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA), paid time off, life insurance, 401(k) plan, discretionary bonuses, and potential equity and incentive compensation at Blackstone’s discretion.
