Manager, CIAM

Optimum is seeking a Manager, CIAM to lead our Customer Identity & Access Management capabilities across web, mobile, and digital platforms. In this role, you will own strategy, roadmap, and delivery of secure, frictionless login, registration, and authentication experiences for residential and business customers. You will partner with security, product, marketing, and engineering to implement CIAM solutions that support personalization, privacy, and compliance.

You will manage vendors, optimize identity platforms, use data to improve conversion and retention, and guide a small team in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIAM strategy, roadmap, and execution for customer identity and access across digital channels
• Own delivery of secure, frictionless authentication, registration, and account management experiences
• Collaborate with security, product, engineering, and marketing to align CIAM with business goals
• Manage CIAM platforms, tools, and vendors, including implementations and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements in identity flows
• Use analytics to optimize login, signup, and identity journeys for conversion and retention
• Define CIAM requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Oversee integration of CIAM with CRM, billing, marketing, and support systems
• Lead and mentor a small team or matrixed contributors supporting CIAM initiatives
• Contribute to incident response and troubleshooting for identity-related issues
