Overview

Maintenance Skilled Worker — full-time with medical/dental insurance.

Location:

Bethpage, NY. Travel to various local facilities throughout the day using agency vans.

• Assist the Facilities Manager with maintenance work and projects at multiple locations.
• Complete all assigned work, paperwork and projects in a timely manner.
• Complete schedules listed in the maintenance manual and any additional items required for program and/or building certifications.
• Perform seasonal preventative maintenance projects (e.g., power washing, furniture moving, landscaping, snow removal) and assist other maintenance workers as assigned.

• Clean, valid NYS driver s license.
• Prior experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or related building trades.
• Ability to work at various heights using extension ladders; ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide or obtain information and to interpret and clarify understanding.
• Strong reasoning skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time position (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm) with travel to locations throughout Suffolk and Nassau using Agency vans.
