2nd Shift Material Handler SUN-THUR

We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded 2nd Shift Material Handler to support our evening warehouse and production operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our night‑shift logistics—ensuring that production lines stay fed with raw materials, finished goods are safely transported, and outgoing orders are accurately staged for morning transit.

• Experience:
  
  1–3 years of warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing logistics experience.
• Equipment
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency with electric pallet jacks or RF scanning equipment is highly preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8‑hour shift, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Autonomy:
  Proven ability to work efficiently and safely with limited supervision during evening hours.

Salary: $17 – $18 per hour

Shift: Second (4 PM – 12 AM)

Education required:

High School diploma or equivalent

• Receiving: loading/unloading trucks at the dock; palletizing and wrapping pallets with plastic wrap.
• Production Line Replenishment: Transport raw materials, components, and hardware to manufacturing work centers to keep production moving without interruption.
• Order Picking & Verification: Utilize RF barcode scanners to pick, count, and verify parts from inventory racks with 100% accuracy.
• Staging & Pallet Handling: Safely load, unload, stack, and stage pallets in designated warehouse bays using manual and electric pallet jacks.
• End‑of‑Day Wrapping: Ensure all finished pallets are securely wrapped (manual or machine) and labeled according to bill of lading requirements before morning shipping.
• Inventory Control: Conduct basic cycle counting and log inventory movements into the warehouse management system (WMS) to maintain accurate stock records.
