Nurse Secretary

Join our team as a Nurse Secretary! Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a dedicated and organized Nurse Secretary to support the health office at Bettendorf Middle School. This role is ideal for someone with strong clerical skills, a calm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality. The Nurse Secretary will also assist the school nurse with students' medical needs as needed.

August 2026 Rate of Pay: $19.43/hour (Secretary

B)

Hours:

7.5 hours per day 200-Day Letter of Assignment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to obtain medication certification
• Previous experience providing secretarial support, preferably in an educational setting, preferred
• Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the public
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
