Elementary Behavior Interventionist (Para educator)
Join our team as an Elementary Behavior Interventionist (Para educator)! Support students with behavioral challenges by implementing intervention plans and fostering a positive, safe learning environment. Bettendorf Community School District seeks compassionate and skilled individuals to work alongside special education staff and administrators at the elementary school level.

Hours:
Up to 33.75 hours per week
Rate of Pay: $19.42/hour
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to implement behavior plans and maintain consistent expectations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to challenging behavior
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs
- Prior experience with students with behavioral or emotional disabilities preferred
- CPI training or willingness to obtain preferred
- Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.
