Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We have an exciting client, located along the Mississippi River Valley near Bettendorf IA, that is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. They are growing and are in need of a person who will assist with all the onsite electrical work. Power Distribution, PLC Programming, Data Collection, Data Trends and more. This plant has the newest of new PLC's and also Legacy versions.

You will be part of a robust team and have much support. With that, we are also looking for an individual that is self driven and can work independently as needed.

To be successful:
You will need to have a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or a related degree with 2+ years working in a manufacturing facility. Must have Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC exposure. On the job experience may be consider in lieu of degree. Project management skills from start to finish. Be able and willing to lead and mentor less experienced personnel. All while working in cross-functional project teams.

Assist and develop preventive maintenance procedures for plant electrical and controls system. Familiarity with some or all of the following: PLC’s (Allen Bradley Control Logix, Compact Logix, Micro Logix, SLC, and PLC5), Drives (Allen Bradley, Parker/SSD), HMI’s (Factory Talk View), Plant floor control networks (Ethernet, Control Net, Device Net, and DH+), power distribution, and general-purpose industrial controls.
