Metallurgical Engineer
We are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to provide leadership and technical support for manufacturing processes and product quality. This role involves evaluating and developing products, processes, and equipment based on customer requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical support for manufacturing processes and product quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 1 year of related experience or internship equivalent.
- 4+ years of metallurgical experience (nice to have)
- Quality systems experience (nice to have)
- Lean manufacturing experience (nice to have)
- Experience with Statistical Methods, Engineering Calculations, Physical Metallurgy, Mechanical Metallurgy, Phase Diagrams, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Metals Solidification Theory, Thermodynamics, and Material Processing (nice to have)
- Experience in the metals or aluminum industry (nice to have)
Work Environment
Work in one of the largest and most stable employers in the Quad Cities, within a one-mile-long aluminum rolling mill facility. Enjoy a team environment with other engineers and technicians, and participate in various employee resource groups and outside work activities. This is a Permanent position based out of Riverdale, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Holiday Pay
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Riverdale, IA.
