Industrial Electrician

LeClaire Manufacturing is looking for an experienced electrician to support our Aluminum Foundry production environment. Position Overview:

The Electrician - Level II will be responsible for conducting electrical installations, maintenance, and complex repairs. This role requires a skilled individual with a thorough understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently.

Essential Functions

* Perform skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

* Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

* Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations.

* Provide guidance and support to Level 1 Electricians and other junior staff.

Up to 100% of the working environment could be hot, cold, and wet. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. While normal hours of work and days for LeClaire Manufacturing are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., hours for this position reflect production hours which run 24 hours a day, 6 - 7 days per week.

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent; electrical trade school or apprenticeship completion strongly preferred.

* Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Continuous learning and adaptability to keep up with evolving technologies.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial setting.

* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.

* Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and schematics.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

* Valid electrician's license or certification as required by state regulations.
