Position: Accounting Assistant, Client Trust Accounting (LA)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant for the Client Trust Accounting department. This role will support our Department Head of Client Trust Accounting while also floating across the department to fill in the gaps as needed on day‑to‑day matters. There is an amazing opportunity for growth with potential to become a Client Trust Accountant.

Duties
  • Assist in creating and editing invoices.
  • Assist in processing payments including (making copies, scanning, mailing out checks and pay stubs, etc.).
  • Assist with conducting post‑job check‑ins with clients.
  • Maintain and update client files and start work documents (I9, W9, W4, etc.).
  • Assist with entering bookings and various tasks assigned by Agent Assistants as needed.
  • Learn the needs of the department and support where appropriate.
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Basic payroll and accounting knowledge, skills, or experience (entry level) required.
  • Experience with production accounting, and/or production preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting preferred.
  • Savvy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Meticulous and accurate.
Compensation

$21/hour + Full Benefits
