Senior Director of Accounting

Senior Director of Accounting (Req #W3055) – William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, LLC – 131 Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 (Los Angeles County). Telework permitted within commuting distance.

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day and month‑end close activities of WME’s Accounting Department.
• Review month‑end journal entries and ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly review reporting package to SVP, Controller, and CFO.
• Research accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and provide technical expertise to the accounting team and management.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and analysis for significant accounting matters as needed.
• Manage the migration of M&A transactions and divestitures, integrating new subsidiaries into accounting system and reporting process.
• Coordinate and manage external audits, internal audits, and tax requests.
• Collaborate with corporate accounting and cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) on questions and requests.
• Maintain integrity of and compliance with internal controls (SOX).
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and management reports to SVP, Controller, CFO, and executive management.
• Manage accounting staff: 1 Director, 1 Senior Accounting Manager, 2 Accounting Managers, and 3 Senior Accountants.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalence in Accounting or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial reporting.

• Salary range: $118,435 – $220,000 per year.
• Hiring pay rates: minimum $165,000 annually (not below local minimum thresholds); maximum $220,000.
