An established entertainment company in Beverly Hills is seeking an Accounting & Office Manager for a role that blends accounting, office operations, and HR. Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing client payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and reconciling commission income.
- Prepare weekly commission and revenue reports while ensuring accurate tracking by client, project, and internal stakeholders.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, working directly with agencies, studios, networks, and leadership on outstanding items.
- Partner with the company's external business management firm to support accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Oversee office administration, including vendor management, facilities coordination, new hire onboarding, employee records, and general HR support.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement technology solutions, and support the company's continued growth.
- 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience.
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the professionalism to handle sensitive financial matters confidentially.
- Experience in entertainment, media, talent agency, literary management, or business management is preferred.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving processes and contributing to a collaborative, low-ego culture.
- In-office position, with some flexibility on start and end time.
- $80,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience.
- 401(k) with employer contribution.
