Junior Accountant

Location: Beverly Hills, CA 90212 (Onsite
- Must be local)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 depending on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday |

We are seeking a Jr Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team supporting a growing real estate investment company
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with approximately 1–5 years of accounting experience who is eager to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities
. The ideal candidate is positive, motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to build their career in real estate accounting
.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  .
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close
  .
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations
  .
• Assist with AP/AR and expense processing
  .
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and equity transactions
  .
• Support cash management, distributions, and bank activity
  .
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
  .
• Assist with investor, lender, audit, and tax requests
  .
• Prepare and maintain Excel trackers and financial reports
  .
• Assist with accounting projects and process improvements
  .
• Learn and use new technology, AI, and automation tools
  .

• 1-5 years of accounting experience
  ; open to slightly less or more for the right candidate.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience working in Real Estate or a related corporate accounting environment, such as private equity or other investment firms.
• Knowledge of GAAP and the full accounting cycle
  .
• Must have general accounting experience and not just AP clerk
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
  .
• Experience with an accounting/ERP system
  .
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
  .
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Motivated to grow and take on additional responsibilities
  .

• Real estate or property accounting experience.
• Experience with private equity, investment firms, or other real estate-related companies
  .
• Experience with multi-entity accounting
  .
• Exposure to acquisitions/dispositions, investor accounting, or distributions
  .
• Experience with Juniper Square or similar platforms.
