Job DetailsPlease note that this would be an onsite role for the time being, with potential flexibility down the line.
We are seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, preparing financial reports, managing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial close activities.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee reimbursements.
- Manage cash activity, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Support acquisitions, new entity setup, and accounting for investment activities.
- Assist with investor accounting, distributions, and financial reporting.
- Prepare lender reporting and support loan compliance requirements.
- Help coordinate audits, tax preparation, and year-end reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, special projects, and process improvements.
- Utilize accounting technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1-5 years of accounting experience (Fund accounting or real estate/ property management experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
