Interim Sr. Manager of Tax

A leading real estate investment and asset management organization is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager on a contract basis to support its tax function during a critical transition period. This consulting opportunity offers exposure to complex tax provision work, collaboration with external advisors, and direct partnership with senior tax leadership.

• Manage and update supporting schedules used in the quarterly and annual tax provision process.
• Prepare and analyze Return-to-Provision calculations and related work papers.
• Support tax compliance activities performed by external advisors.
• Respond to tax-related information requests and inquiries from external tax consultants.
• Review tax return data and provide support for provision-to-return reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of the overall tax provision package.
• Partner closely with Tax leadership on high-priority projects and reporting requirements.
• Work extensively with large datasets and complex Excel workbooks.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of corporate income tax experience.
• Strong tax provision experience required.
• Experience supporting outsourced tax compliance processes.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including working with large datasets and complex analytical schedules.
• Ability to work independently and quickly ramp into a fast-paced environment.
• Real estate industry experience is a plus.
• ASC 740 income tax provision experience.
• Partnership and corporate tax exposure.
