Sr. Property Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr Property Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for a Sr Property Accountant who can maintain accurate records, support timely close activities, and strengthen the integrity of daily accounting operations. The position offers the opportunity to contribute across core accounting functions while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure reliable financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly closing activities by preparing schedules, reviewing transactions, and helping ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording financial activity accurately and verifying proper account classification.
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation to reflect routine and non-routine business transactions.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies, resolve outstanding items, and preserve balance sheet accuracy.
• Complete bank reconciliations on a regular basis and investigate variances between bank records and internal accounts.
• Review accounting data for completeness and consistency, making corrections as needed to support dependable financial statements.
