We are looking for a detail‑oriented Title Clerk to support our dealership’s business office operations. This role is responsible for processing vehicle title and registration documents accurately, timely, and in compliance with state, DMV, lender, and dealership requirements. The Title Clerk plays an important role in ensuring smooth vehicle transactions, accurate records, and a positive experience for our guests and internal teams.

- Process title, registration, and related DMV paperwork for new, used, wholesale, dealer trade, and out‑of‑state vehicle transactions.
- Review sales documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Submit DMV paperwork and follow up on pending title and registration items.
- Verify lienholder, payoff, trade‑in, and ownership documentation as needed.
- Maintain accurate title logs, records, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with DMV, lenders, sales, finance, accounting, and management to resolve title or registration issues.
- Track missing documents and follow up timely to prevent delays.
- Ensure title work is completed in accordance with dealership policies, state requirements, and applicable deadlines.
- Support audits, recordkeeping, and business office projects as assigned.
- Prior dealership title clerk, DMV, business office, or automotive accounting experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and follow up on open items.
- Working knowledge of vehicle title, registration, lien, and DMV processes preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with internal departments and external agencies.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
Pay: $29 – $35 / hour
