Staffing Coordinator assignment supporting outpatient clinic operations in Beverly Hills, California. This 13-week contract role is responsible for coordinating provider and staff schedules, managing staffing coverage, maintaining schedule compliance, and supporting workforce operations across outpatient clinic settings. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM with one weekend day per month required. The Staffing Coordinator will collaborate with leadership, HR, payroll, and clinic staff to ensure accurate scheduling, staffing optimization, and operational continuity.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of staffing coordinator or scheduling experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient clinic or medical office experience required
- Experience with EPIC or FAST required
- Experience with UKG/Kronos preferred
- Strong understanding of staff scheduling and workforce coordination required
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed written and verbal instructions required
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Certification in healthcare administration or scheduling preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills required
- Experience with Excel, Tableau, or staffing reports preferred
- Ability to manage schedule adjustments, staffing shortages, and time-off coordination in real time required
- One weekend day per month required
- Two supervisor references required at submission

Unit Details:
The Staffing Coordinator will develop, maintain, and update comprehensive provider and staff schedules to ensure adequate clinic coverage and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include processing time-off requests, adjusting schedules for staffing changes, monitoring attendance and overtime compliance, coordinating holiday and weekend staffing rotations, and maintaining schedule accuracy in UKG/Kronos systems. The coordinator will generate staffing reports using systems such as UKG, Excel, or Tableau, perform audits for compliance with labor policies and departmental standards, and collaborate with HR and Payroll to reconcile scheduling and attendance records.
Additional duties include communicating schedule updates to clinic teams, supporting operational improvements, and ensuring timely response to staffing needs and workflow changes.
