WME seeks a talented and highly motivated lawyer to join its Business Affairs department in Beverly Hills as a Coordinator. This position will support the Motion Picture group along with the agents. This is a high-volume practice with tight time frames.
Job Description- Track, document and issue package letters for Motion Picture Manage and update our database of precedent used for various motion picture/film agreements;
- Review and negotiate motion picture/film agreements;
- Manage the grids, checklists and forms used by the business affairs group;
- Support the entire Motion Picture Business Affairs team by handing special projects and requests when assigned.
- J.D. required Admitted to California or New York state bar 1+ year(s) of transactional legal/business affairs experience;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to interact with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced environment;
- Outstanding drafting, analytical, and organizational skills;
- A curious mind, a strong work ethic, and a creative but practical approach to problem-solving
Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum: $52,728 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum: $70,304 annually
