We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Construction Scheduler to join our team. This hybrid role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to utilize their expertise in the construction industry and make a significant impact on our operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of project scheduling, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. They will also coordinate with various departments, including project management, engineering, and procurement, to ensure all project milestones are met. This position offers a unique blend of on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction schedules for new and ongoing projects using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and deliverables.
- Identify critical path issues and propose strategies for resolution.
- Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders on the status of project schedules.
- Analyze project progress and performance, identifying any potential delays or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant construction regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure all aspects of the project are in sync and on schedule.
- Conduct risk analyses and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential project delays.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking project milestones.
- Hybrid: work remotely and visit 4 jobsites from Malibu to Beverly Hills 2 days per week.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or residential construction scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction schedules and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.
