Design Assistant; Accessories

ABOUT DNAM BRANDS:

In this role, you will support the development and execution of accessories across our portfolio of iconic brands including Von Dutch, Ed Hardy, Trina Turk, Valentino Orlandi, and Badgley Mischka. Working closely with the Design and Production teams, you will assist with tech packs, material sourcing, sample coordination, and day-to-day design execution to help bring concepts to life. This role is highly detail-oriented and collaborative, supporting a fast-paced, fashion-driven environment where organization and follow-through are essential.

The Design Assistant plays a key role in ensuring product development runs smoothly from concept through sampling, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and alignment across teams.

You must be based in or willing to commute to our office to be considered for this position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience or relevant internship in accessories or fashion design
• Strong interest in accessories, materials, and product development
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Support the accessories design team with daily design and development tasks
• Assist in creating tech packs, sketches, and colorways for accessories styles
• Coordinate samples, track revisions, and maintain development timelines
• Research trends, materials, and competitive products
• Organize design files, line sheets, and sample libraries
