The Kitchen Designer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Beverly Hills, CA. The Kitchen Designer will meet with clients in the showroom and on-site to understand their needs, gather measurements, and develop functional kitchen layouts. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating design plans and 3D renderings, selecting cabinets, appliances, and finishes, and preparing detailed proposals and quotes. The role involves guiding clients through product options, coordinating with sales and installation teams, and ensuring designs align with budget, building codes, and timelines.
The Kitchen Designer will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, product lines, and vendor offerings, while providing consistent follow-up and excellent customer service throughout each project.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Kitchen & Bath Design, including space planning and layout creation.
- Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and manage client expectations.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting designs and collaborating with team members.
- Sales skills to advise on product selection, prepare quotes, and support closing design and appliance sales.
- Knowledge of Cabinetry, including styles, construction, finishes, and installation considerations.
- Experience with design software (e.g., 2020 Design, CAD, or similar) and basic computer proficiency.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local building codes, measurements, and on-site assessment practices is beneficial.
- Prior experience in kitchen or interior design, retail showroom environments, or home improvement is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Beverly Hills, CA, including occasional evenings or weekends based on client needs.
