Overview

Beverly Pathology is an independently contracted private pathology group, in the Cedars-Sinai Health System's Foundation, providing exclusive pathology services to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The successful candidate will be recruited by Beverly Pathology to join our experienced team. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center faculty are strongly committed to graduate medical education and research. Faculty members also participate broadly in both departmental/institutional committees as well as tumor board presentations.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a 1022-bed qua ternary medical care facility and Level 1 trauma center located at the junction of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills and is the largest private not-for-profit provider of health care on the West Coast, serving more than 9 million people in Los Angeles County.

Position and responsibilities

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center invites applications for a full-time academic position as the Residency Program Director. The program director will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty across the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a nonprofit academic healthcare organization serving the diverse Los Angeles community and beyond.

As future curriculum development will heavily rely on digital pathology and computer-based learning tools, a strong background and/or fellowship in Pathology informatics is highly desirable.
