Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting mathematical thinking and problem‑solving skills. The Math Teacher will design engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and support students in reaching their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and school events.
- Uphold school policies and promote a safe, respectful classroom environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required).
- Teaching certification/license (as required by state or country).
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and pedagogical strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth.
- Full-time, typically during regular school hours.
- May involve participation in after‑school activities or tutoring.
