Role Overview
We are building a top talent technical product team to support Fashion Nova’s next phase of growth. We have ambitious plans to build technology platforms that will help us scale the company significantly over the coming years. The Product Manager will work closely with our engineering teams as we evolve our Shopify based eCommerce experience to take our user experience to the next level and build data rich tools to enable internal teams to maximize their performance.
Key Responsibilities- The Technical Product Manager will direct the daily operations of the product teams, analyzing workflows, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
- Create, manage, and prioritize product road map in alignment with business goals.
- Lead product execution from vision, through delivery, and iterating on next steps.
- The Technical Product Manager will review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
- Meet with Fashion Nova’s department heads, managers, supervisors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and various business functions to deliver new products.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Develop and interpret Fashion Nova’s organizational goals, policies and procedures.
- Collect and analyze feedback from our customers and key stakeholders to distill down into actionable requirements.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and project scope throughout the delivery process, preparing and reviewing operational reports and project progress reports.
- Lead product development ceremonies (Daily Stand, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Facilitate Retros, and Architectural Discussions).
- Measure and review data to develop improvements and build new features.
- Evaluate Fashion Nova’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post‑baccalaureate experience as a Technical Product Manager or a related position.
- Experience must include eCommerce/Retail, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Inventory Optimization Systems, leading cross‑functional meetings such as WBRs, QBRs and Annual Plans; and delivering on complex internal/external platform problems with high ambiguity.
- Collaboration:
A track record of shipping and iterating on successful enterprise products/solutions that required partnering with and building consensus across multiple teams, organizations, and/or companies. - Technical:
Strong technical underpinnings, passionate about API’s, systems design, architecture, security, scalability and reliability. - Communication:
Ability to both operate and communicate at a strategic level and dive deep into the technical details and complexity with ease; can readily communicate highly technical and complex topics to non‑technical audiences. - Execution:
Solution‑oriented, and able to help the team push through obstacles and blockers to deliver value for our customers. - Problem Solving:
Experience working and delivering on complex internal/external platform problems with high ambiguity and without a clear answer. - Experience running cross‑functional meetings such as WBRs, QBRs and Annual plans.
- Accelerated understanding of G‑Suite and Microsoft Office.
- BA degree in a related engineering discipline.
- English, additional language(s) an advantage.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite 4 days.
