COMPENSATION:
Commission-based only — 10–15% of gig fees. No salary or retainer. This is a performance-based role for agents motivated by building a roster from the ground up.
Emerging melodic techno artist with 300k social media followers Instagram following is hiring a booking agent to develop a live performance career. Looking for someone hungry to build a roster, with strong club and event contacts in electronic music. Long-term partnership.
Responsibilities- Pitch and secure DJ bookings at clubs, festivals, private events, and brand activations
- Negotiate fees, contracts, and riders
- Build relationships with promoters, venues, and event producers
- Coordinate logistics (travel, scheduling, advance) in collaboration with the artist's assistant
- Provide regular updates on outreach, leads, and confirmed bookings
- Help develop a strategic touring/performance plan
- Existing relationships with clubs, promoters, or events in electronic / melodic techno / deep house space
- Experience booking DJs or electronic artists
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Self-starter, motivated by commission-based growth
- Honest, transparent, and contract-savvy
- Strong social media presence (195K+ followers across platforms)
- Distinctive cosmic, dark, atmospheric aesthetic (melodic techno / deep house)
- Original music releases planned within the next 1–3 months
- Focus areas: LA local, US national, and international opportunities
