Robert Half is seeking a part-time candidate for a project-based opportunity for 2+ months in Beverly Hills. This role focuses on balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and an understanding of month-end close activities. This role would start at 24 hours per week with the potential to increase to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile balance sheets and bank statements.

Provide proposals for journal entries and, occasionally, post journal entries.

Collaborate to ensure accuracy and completion of financial processes in manual Excel-based systems.

Assist with month-end close.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hotel industry experience (not mandatory but preferred).

Expertise with manual balance sheet and Excel reconciliation processes.

This position is fully onsite in Beverly Hills. The role will start three days per week from 8:30
-5PM with potential to increase to 5 days per week. This is a contract role for 2+ months. Pay is based on experience, between $27-30/hr.

Requirements - Proven experience with balance sheet and bank statement reconciliations.

- Proficiency in preparing, proposing, and posting journal entries.

- Advanced knowledge of manual Excel-based reconciliation processes.

- Familiarity with Sun Systems or similar financial software.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

- Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance and corporate tax return preparation.

- Attention to detail and ability to resolve financial discrepancies effectively.

- Preferred experience in the hotel industry, though not mandatory.
