Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dietetics and physiology, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop tailored nutrition care plans. This role is essential in promoting health and wellness through effective dietary management within a long-term care setting.

- Pay-range $45 to $50 per hour depending on skills/experience
- Annualized salary range is $93,000 to $105,000

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs based on medical history and current health status.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that include dietary recommendations and interventions.
- Provide guidance on tube feeding protocols for patients requiring enteral nutrition.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure compliance with established nutrition standards and policies.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or imbalances in patients.
- Supervise dietary staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in food preparation and service.
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition, dietary restrictions, and healthy eating habits.
- Stay informed of the latest research in dietetics and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.
- A degree in Dietetics or a related field is required; completion of an accredited internship is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a hospital/long term care setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dietary systems used for patient management within healthcare facilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Other duties may be assigned.
