As a full‑time CT Technologist I at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12‑hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist I, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.
Summary of Essential Duties- Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Position patient to capture appropriate images
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
We are currently offering a $7,500 sign‑on bonus to newly hired Techs!
Qualifications Education:- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required
Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT‑R) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT‑CT) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
- Venipuncture certification required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Applicants with 2 years+ experience may be considered as a CT Tech II
