Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Event Servers for our luxurious rooftop events at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills. As an Event Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during various private events, weddings, and corporate gatherings hosted at our stunning rooftop venue and all indoor event spaces.
Responsibilities- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces according to the event plan and hotel standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following proper serving etiquette.
- Ensure tables are set up correctly with appropriate linens, glassware, silverware, and other necessary items.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels during events and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces throughout the duration of events.
- Uphold hotel and industry sanitation standards in handling food, beverages, and equipment.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to guests’ inquiries regarding menu items, allergens, and beverage options.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a server or in a similar role, preferably in a high-end or luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including wine and cocktail service.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages and stand for extended periods.
- Certification in food handling and safety (e.g., Serv Safe and RBS) required.
- Experience with event coordination or banquet service is highly desirable.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous, especially in languages commonly spoken by our international clientele.

Hourly Rate: $18.50 + Gratuity
