Summary:
IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (IJW) is a dynamic, fully integrated spirits company. Founded in 2017, we’ve compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 40-acre campus in Danville. Our ambitious growth trajectory includes a new whiskey distillery in Shelbyville, KY, slated for completion in early 2026, and a Japanese distillery in Chitose that will be completed in late 2026.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized, technically curious Business Systems Analyst to join our Los Angeles team. This role sits at the intersection of business, systems, and data—supporting critical applications, leading ERP-related initiatives, and turning data into actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for the LA office, providing hands‑on application support while also playing a central role in system implementations and improvements. This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working across teams, and bringing structure to complex initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Strategic Insights
- Partner with stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Translate business needs into clear system and reporting requirements
- Use data to generate insights that support more informed, strategic decision‑making
- Document processes, user stories, and workflows to support solution design
Systems & Application Support
- Provide day‑to‑day application support (not development) for ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Quick Books), internal tools, and business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and user issues, ensuring minimal disruption
- Support and maintain SharePoint sites and other internal or visitor‑facing applications
- Serve as the go‑to IT support resource for the LA team
Project Delivery & ERP Implementation
- Act as the main point of contact for system implementations, particularly ERP‑related initiatives
- Lead or support projects from an IT perspective, functioning similarly to a project manager
- Coordinate across business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors
- Support project planning, timelines, testing (UAT), and successful rollout
- Bring structure, organization, and accountability to large‑scale initiatives
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Work with SQL tables and underlying data to extract, analyze, and present insights
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across systems
- Translate data into meaningful insights for operational and executive decision‑making
Process Improvement & Governance
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve system usage
- Support intake, prioritization, and tracking of system enhancements
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and configurations
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst or similar hybrid systems/application support role
- Hands‑on experience supporting and/or implementing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Quick Books, or similar)
- Strong experience with Power BI (dashboards, reporting, data visualization)
- Minimum one year experience with Microsoft Power Automate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL
- Exposure to large‑scale system implementations or projects (project coordination or delivery)
- Experience in application support
- Familiarity with SharePoint and basic web/design concepts is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and listening skills; able to translate business needs into solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally
- Proactive, reliable, and solutions‑oriented with a strong focus on team fit
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
