** THE ROLE
** The Manager, Learning & Development works on the People Operations & Programs team based in Los Angeles, CA, and partners across divisions to design, build, and deliver learning programs that develop skills and capabilities, drive engagement and performance, and provide results for a highly decentralized organization. facilitation, and program-building skills with experience in human resources and learning and development. This role partners closely with divisional HR leaders and managers to help translate people and business needs into practical learning solutions, with a focus on manager development.

** WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
** manager skills such as feedback, communication, performance management, and leading through change, and
** Program Operations:
** Guide and execute operational and administrative responsibilities to support end-to-end learning and development initiatives, in partnership with team members. Minimum of 5 years of progressive learning and development experience, with demonstrated experience building and facilitating people manager development programs in complex organizations.

Experience working in a consultative L&D or HR role, with an understanding of HR functions and scope, assessing people and business needs, identifying gaps and supporting the execution of timely, scalable solutions.

Strong background in people manager development, including key skill areas such as feedback, coaching, communication, and performance management; direct people manager experience a plus.

Knowledge of leadership development and management training needs, with experience applying modern adult learning theories and broader learning & development and organizational development best practices.

Excellent communicator (written and verbal) and facilitator, with a demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups, including people managers and HR partners.

Strong partnership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with experience creating materials that support learner and stakeholder engagement. Ability to work closely with others and build positive working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, while managing multiple priorities and projects.
